Ships like Leviathan were the key ships in interstellar travel and military transportation.
Having this advantage, Mayak won the first two Plateau Wars (ending in 1333. and 1351.) however during the sixties and seventies The Theraken Federation gained knowledge of Zeta Spectrum from The House Kerbadar (the leading science group in Plateau) which lead to The Third War in 1388, the longest war in standard history.
